Wichita Forward
by Mindful Wichita and Bobbie Lane
Wichita Forward is the community-facing side of Mindful Wichita.
It’s where mindfulness turns into real life — through gatherings, workshops, and shared spaces for healing and growth. Built for people who care about how we live, lead, and support one another — in homes, schools, and neighborhoods.
It’s about doing something that matters, right here, with the people around us.
Rooted in Community. Sponsored with Care.
This work is made possible through the support of Bobbie Lane, whose belief in community inspired the seed funding to help this vision grow.
Bobbie’s sponsorship supports grassroots programming that strengthens our city from the inside out.
Skills School
Tools for Real Life
Skills School is our ongoing workshop and learning series — a place to gather, reflect, and grow.
Whether it’s a one-night workshop or a multi-week journey, every offering helps us live and lead with more mindfulness, clarity, and resilience.
Open to all community members
New sessions each season
Practical topics (e.g., stress regulation, communication, ethical leadership)
Resilience Circles
Space to Begin Again
Resilience Circles are not events — they are breath-based, reflection-centered containers where people return to themselves.
These circles are gentle, powerful, and repeatable — and we’re working to train others to bring them into their own homes, schools, and organizations.
Small group format
Light facilitation rooted in presence
Can be hosted anywhere: living rooms, break rooms, classrooms
